Road Safety in Thruxton- Consultation by Thruxon Parish Council; Questionnaire

We need your help!

Hampshire County Council has agreed to some villages being eligible for 20 MPH speed limits to some
roads. We really need your views to enable a decision on our applying to reduce speed limits in the
Parish. The data we collect from our electronic speed signs together with verbal feedback all suggest
that average speeds are uncomfortably high in places through Thruxton for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists
and horses, especially where there is no footpath.

There are three ways to complete and submit the questionnaire by 9th March 2026:
A. On paper, and delivering to the post box mounted on the Thruxton Memorial hall railings
